Seven Springs Hike

August 30, 2018

Join us for the final hike of 2018 which will be a 5.7 mile hike, which can be shorter through an open grass valley lines by pines and sandstone cliffs in the Jemez Mountain Region near the fish hatchery.

The hike is rated as easy with just 277 feet of elevation gain.

We will meet at the Merc parking lot on NM 165 here in Placitas at 8:55 am on Sunday 9 September for a 9 o’clo’clock departure. Wear good hiking shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen and possibly a hiking stick. We will provide the water.

Harmony with land is like harmony with a friend; you cannot cherish his right hand and chop off his left. That is to say, you cannot love game and hate predators… The land is one organism.
